Hille Highlights July and August

We are loving summer! We enjoyed the 4th of July parade in Bonduel.

At first, Noel did not really understand the concept of a parade, but as soon as she kept getting candy she started to wave at every parade participant. Too funny!

Noah went to the parade solely for the tractors and the candy!

We were able to watch the Bonduel fireworks from our driveway! Perfect view of the fireworks! Mike and I are thinking we should have an annual party on 4th of July night because of this. Who wants to be invited?

We went to Bay Beach for the first time with the kids! That was probably the first time Mike and I went there in like 15 years.

Noel, my fashionista! Keep smiling sweet heart!

Noel and I went to Old Glory Candy store in Shawano! We found lots of salt water taffy, homemade fudge and other good candy! I only found out about this candy store because of going to the Bonduel parade!

Noah loves to be the big brother and pull his sister around the yard in the wagon!

Our old washer and dryer quit so we had to buy new. We ended up at HH Gregg and bought the Whirlpool Duet. Our old washer that came with this house sounded like a jet going off during the spin cycles. These machines are super quiet! Love that we can do laundry at night again and watch TV at a normal volume!

Mike surprised me with a golf cart! We all love driving and riding it around our yard.

Watching the storm come in. At least this one produced a rainbow!

We surprised Grandma Debbie with an Angel Food cake and gifts a few days before her birthday! Happy Birthday Mom/Grandma! We love you!

We enjoyed pick a duck at the Outagamie County Fair in Seymour-an annual tradition. Noel's first time! Funny thing-we were in fleece sweat shirts this year instead of shorts!

Here is Noah picking a duck in 2012

Here is Noah picking a duck in 2011. Oh my goodness. He looks so little. He is 2 in this photo. I love his cute shoes!

Noah found my 1985 LIFE board game and he just loved the little car game pieces. He parked them all at the church for the wedding! Super cute!

I tried to get them both to smile, but Noah likes making silly faces more than smiling right now!. My little girl is still missing 4 teeth, she is 23 months, but her smile is still super cute and makes me smile too!

We went up to Lakewood to visit Henry, Lillian, and Lisa. We enjoyed a couple of laps around Paya Lake in the boat! Thanks Lisa for the ride! Noah loved it!

We find lots of wildlife in our backyard. The latest: a little turtle.

Yay! We have lots of carrots from our garden! They were super yummy!

Here is our garden! We have enjoyed peas from the garden too! Rock on! Still waiting on the sweet corn and the pumpkins!

The whole family loves to take rides to the apple tree in the back yard.

We also enjoy snacks and picnics under this cute apple tree!

The kids wearing Mike's hard hats and uniforms. Future Halloween costumes?

Love the beautiful flowers in our yard. Awesome purple!

And last but not least. I can't do a blog post without something that was organized. Mike and I organized our basement. We labeled all of our storage containers on the top and side of each one to easily locate something we may need later on.

Yesterday we got all of our school shopping done-school supplies and clothes! What a great feeling!
