WOW-it's the end of September already!

Seriously, I can not believe that it is the end of September already! Geez! Christmas is going to be here faster than what we think and I haven't even started shopping yet, which is totally normal for me. Usually the day after Thanksgiving is super shopping day for me. I usually try to buy all my Christmas presents on one day, yes thats right, one day.

Okay, so I have been super busy the past few weeks so sorry the blog post is delayed. I am also fighting a cold right now. Maybe that's why my house currently looks like this (yes, in the middle of the room is a pile of clean laundry that has to be folded and what am I doing instead of laundry, why blogging of course because that's more fun):
A few weeks ago we decided to give Noah a haircut and well we used the wrong setting on the clippers and he got a buzz cut. Sorry buddy!

Rene' and I went to Mall of America a few weekends ago to go to ScrapFest. It was awesome! I did more shopping then scrapbooking because I realized I only got 4 scrapbook pages done, but I did start 3 projects.
For work, I went to Epic UGM for the week in Madison, Wisconsin. It was the best UGM yet!

Who needs a huge living room to play toys in when you have a tupperware bin to play in instead:

Noah is thinking, "Mama, let's go outside, please, so I can check out all the tires on the car and on the wagons, oh and you can't forget the lawnmower or the stroller."
I found on a blog that someone had a huge dry erase calendar in their kitchen and I thought that would be awesome to have. I hate trying to write things in small little calendar boxes. So, Mike made me a huge calendar for our dining room! Yeah, I know, you are jealous! It is sweet!

Oh, one more thing, there is a cool website called " The Blog Guidebook". Today I learned how to get blog stats on my blog to see how many people are visiting my blog. I love this, now I need one of these "counters" for work so I can count how many clicks are in the workflows we are designing in Epic.

Here's to a fabulous rest of the week!

I'm thinking about Christmas already!

It's crazy that I'm thinking about Christmas already (meaning treats)! I was craving peanut butter balls and roll out sugar cookies. So, this week, I made both. The peanut butter balls only lasted a day and we are still eating up the cookies. Both turned out so yummy! The perfect Autumn treats! Who says you have to wait till Christmas for treats.

Noah looks so cute in his big boy clothes. JCPenney has awesome clothes!
Last week, my Mom, Noah, and I went to Build-A-Bear Workshop and we created the puppy named "Boo" and Noah absolutely loves him. He loves to chew on his nose.
I love burning candles during the Autumn months. Our house currently smells like an apple orchard. Love it!
Noah loves to take out as many items as he can from the cupboards. In this picture he was fascinated with the bottle warmer.

Hope everyone has a great week!

Ahhh...the start of Autumn

I love the start of Autumn. It's the time to start decorating the house with oranges and reds. I absolutely love the color orange, so it makes sense that I love Autumn. I also love burning yummy scented candles during Autumn. This weekend, we have been enjoying the wonderful smell of spiced cider as the scented candle of choice. Whenever Autumn approaches, I like to also cook more crock-pot meals. Yesterday, I made a beef roast and an apple pie! Mrs. Smith made the pie, I just baked it. Gotta love it!

The start of Autumn also means sweatshirt time! My Mom, Noah, and I went shopping at the Fox River Mall and bought Noah a whole new wardrobe! Noah looks very cute in his football sweatshirt and jeans!
It's crazy to think just a few days ago, Noah was in a tank top and shorts. How fast the weather changes.
Noah is very smart and he loves to brush his hair after this bath. Way cute! I couldn't find his brush for days until I looked in the laundry hamper today! Geez!

Hope everyone has a fabulous start to Autumn!
