Getting ready for the holidays!

Here is what the Hille family has been up to the past month:

Loving our new kid art work display in our living room!

Two year olds love to make towers out of the PlayDoh containers more than playing with the PlayDoh itself.

Here is a picture of when Noah was 2 years old with his PlayDoh tower in our old house. He was really excited!

My new favorite: Fava Tea

I love decorating a mantel for the holidays! Red and white theme this year!

Mike shot a 7 point buck this year during the gun deer hunt. When Noah first saw the deer, he pet it and then said "It will be okay little deer". Noel was scared of it and stayed in the garage.

Noah loves to play Candy Land. He made a new rule that if you win, then you get a real candy treat! He will do anything for candy.

We celebrated Grandma Wolosek's birthday! It was a great day! Love you Grandma!

Every night before bed, we enjoy reading Christmas books to the kids! I found this Christmas wood bin at Kirklands! Even personalized for Noel.

Noel loves shoes. She looks so cute in her dress up's.

Noah loves to make car and tractor shows on our couch. A lot of his toys "pretend" to get stuck and he has to pull them out with another truck or tractor. Or he puts it as "They got into an accidented"

Another great find from Kirklands to get my mail off of my kitchen counter!

Love outdoor Christmas lights! I love that Mike got creative and found red and green lights for the porch too!

First Christmas Tree in our new house! The kids decided that laying on the floor would be the best option. So, this picture is courtesy of a 2 and 4 year old fun! Love them!

Noah begged Mike for a ride on the snowmobile even though it was only 7 degrees out!

Love the Christmas Tree lights and the fireplace light! Very warm and comforting.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from our home to yours! Hope everyone enjoys the holidays with their family and friends!

Hille Highlights September and October

My Mom and I went to Chicago to see my brother Dan at the end of September. This was my first time in Chicago! What an eye opening experience. I definitely prefer the country with lots of open fields.

The Chicago skyline! Riding on the double decker bus was fun! We stayed at the Hilton, the building on the far left!

We  bought some reading benches/storage solutions for toys for the kids bedrooms! I bought them at benches.com.

Here is Noah's reading bench! Often times this bench gets full of cars or tractors or trucks for a car show or tractor show!

We are going to build our shed in stages. This year we started with the dirt and sand foundation. Hopefully in the spring, we will do concrete. 30X40 shed.

We have come to realize that Noel is allergic to mosquito bites, so now I need to keep Benadryl in stock at all times. This time her eye was super swollen. Now I know why she is so scared of flies and bugs!

We put new carpet in the kids bedrooms. The hardwood floors were too hard to try to play toys on. Now they can play in their bedrooms more. Eventually we will remove this carpet to enjoy the hardwood floors again.

We bought a new big girl bed for Noel on Craigslist. Grandma Debbie made the quilt for her! Thank you Mom! Notice that Noel is wearing Noah's slippers. Just another day in the Hille Household.

Yay! I love family photos especially in our backyard! My favorite photo for 2013!

Noah loves my knee walker. If we would let him, he would play on this for hours.

My right bunion surgery went very well! This boot is very heavy. I am now 2 weeks post surgery and I have been walking on it for a few days already. I still use my knee walker a lot.

Carving pumpkins was fun this year with the kids!

Happy Halloween! Noah was a KoneCranes Inspector (Mike's work uniform). Noel was Minnie Mouse! Too bad it rained throughout trick or treating in Bonduel.

The kids loved jumping in the leaf pile in our backyard! Love Autumn!

Noah writing his list to Santa. He did a great job for 4 years old with his writing!  Don't let this photo fool you, he really is right handed. Interesting note though, he eats his cereal with his left hand.

Mike is getting excited for snow because he bought a snowmobile. This is the first snowmobile he has had since like 1998. Bringing back winter tradition especially since the mountain bay trail behind our house allows snowmobiles on it!

Since I live on the couch now because of my foot surgery, I watch a lot of HGTV and Food Network! I bought all of the Pioneer Woman's cook books! Yum! I just made meal planning much more fun each week!

Side Note: I made peanut butter balls this weekend! I never can wait till the holiday season to make them. I also made homemade onion rings last night to go with our French Dip Sandwiches. I have to say that was a lot of work! The Pioneer Woman makes it look so easy on TV.

My on-line Christmas shopping has been going very well. I think I am about 90% done! I am also 80% done with my 3 scrapbooks for the year and I started my 2013 year highlights DVD! So even though I live on the couch, I have been super busy!

Yesterday around 2 pm we saw an 8 point buck chasing a doe right in our backyard on our golf cart path! The rut is on! Mike has a deer camera in the backyard too and got a picture of the 8 pointer! Check it out! Cool.

Enjoy the Holidays coming up with your family and friends! Thanksgiving is 2 and a half weeks away!

Hille Happenings

August and September have been extremely busy! The kids love to chill out with electronics at night.

Noah loves balloons. Funny thing happened right before our 2 parties (Noel's birthday and our new house party). All the balloons I had filled with Helium 24 plus hours before the parties. The morning of the parties, I went down to the basement to get all the balloons and they all were on the floor. Now I can laugh about it at least.
Noel turned 2 years old!
Noel at 2 years old. Noel loves shoes. Well, actually she has a shoe obsession. She is always in the laundry room trying on everyone's shoes. Noel still is missing 4 teeth. She is now a little blondie too! Noel loves Minnie Mouse and Dora and dress up items like bracelets.
I love Noel's expression when she opened the hair salon gift! Super cute!
Our princess enjoying bubbles, which is another obsession.
Noah started 4K. Crazy how fast time flies by.
Noah being silly sitting in his chair at 4K.
For Noel's Birthday, we bought her a Barbie jeep! The smile explains it all.
If you know Noah's personality, this picture sums him up pretty well. This was the biggest hit at the Shawano Fair besides the Ferris Wheel. Noah went on the Ferris wheel and loved it!
Lately, Noah has been the driver of Noel's jeep and Noel has been his sidekick.
Love new shoes for school.

Noel was super excited for school. She moved into the 2 year old room at Bear Cub Day Care.
Noah at Bear Cub Day Care next to his cubby.
We ended up with 17 pumpkins from our garden!
This girl is always ready to smile.
Noah raced his four wheeler. It was an extremely hot day.
Love Autumn decorating around our new house.
Orange Lanterns. Love.
Yay! Harvest Time!
We enjoyed Scott and Tara's Wedding! Noah was the ring bearer and he walked/skipped down the aisle. Mike was the best man and I stood up as a bridesmaid! It was a perfect day and the weather was picture perfect too!
Our flowers for the wedding smelled amazing!
Organizing with Amy- Toothbrush drawer. I used a silverware tray to hold our toothbrushes and toothpaste and floss. I had to find a tray that had grippers on the bottom so it wouldn't slide around in the drawer. For my main silverware drawer, I ended up using Velcro to hold the tray in place.
Organizing #2-Nail Polish caddy. I ended up finding this caddy on Amazon and it is really suppose to hold napkins and plastic silverware, but I found it works much better for nail polish supplies.
I found this huge ruler at Kirklands and we have written all of our heights on it with dates. It will be fun to watch how fast the kids grow!

Enjoy the autumn season! The holidays are coming up fast! This year I am doing online shopping! No crowds, no driving in snow, and the main reason is I am having right bunion surgery the end of October and will not be able to drive for 8 weeks!
