Life on the Couch-Part 2

I am on week 3 of bedrest. At times, bedrest gets very long. So, I try to keep busy with reading magazines, surfing the internet (I am obsessed with family organization websites and setting up a family command center), watch TV, etc.
My ultrasound and doctor appointment went well yesterday. We are guessing Princess Hille will be arriving this week or next week. I will be 37 weeks on Saturday! Estimated weight of Princess Hille is 5 lbs 12 oz. Still 3 cm dilated and 70 to 80% effaced.
I having been scrapbooking on the couch! Basically just photos and journaling using the Project Life kit by Becky Higgins. I have all my journaling cards ready for the rest of the year! Sweet!
Noah loves sticker books lately!
Noah loves playing with his semi's. The semi's can do wheelies too, even the trailers!
Noah likes to ride all his toys even though some are really not for riding on.
My brother Mike married Janet on Saturday. Their wedding was perfect! Here they are with my proud Parents!
I love photos that capture several generations. Mike, Janet, my Parents, and my Grandparents!
The happy couple at the reception at Romy's!
I love this photo of my family! We are so blessed!
Noah was running a 102.2 temperature on and off all day of my brother's wedding. When Noah saw the toy tractor on the wedding cake, he had to have it. His tractor did lots of wheelies after dinner! (Janet and Mike, if you need your cake topper back, let me know)!
Noah and Grandma Debbie!
Yesterday's picture: 36 weeks 2 days pregnant!
Sweet Noah man is feeling better! He loved the Lemon Cake Mix Cookies after dinner!
I am hoping that my next blog post has pictures of our sweet Princess Hille! I am so excited to kiss her cute forehead and feel her soft hair!  We hope everyone has a fabulous week!

Life on the Couch

I was put on bedrest on Monday, August 8th. The first two days were bedrest at Aurora Hospital. I was put on bedrest because of contractions that were 3 to 4 min apart. I was already 3 cm dilated. I was 34 weeks at this time.

I am now on bedrest at home and the couch is my life right now. I am now 35 weeks pregnant!

My goal is to get to 37 weeks. My doctor thinks I will be lucky if I make it to 36 weeks, which is the day of my brother Mike's wedding (which I am NO longer standing up in on August 20th).

What do I do on bedrest? Here is a quick breakdown:
On Thursday night, while Mike was at the Timber Rattlers game in Appleton, I started contracting every 2 minutes so Mike went straight to Aurora Hospital and my Mom (who was watching Noah at my house) took me to Aurora Hospital. We got to the hospital around 8:45 pm and I was sent home at 11:45 pm. Contractions were still happening, but they were much spaced out and finally went away.

I still have my weekly ultrasounds and weekly doctor appointments. I have both tomorrow at 9 AM again.

On the Tidy Mom blog, I found a recipe I want to try eventually:

Lemon Burst Cake Mix Cookies
1 box Lemon Cake Mix
1- 8 oz container Cool Whip
1 egg
1/3 cup powdered sugar (for rolling)

•Preheat oven to 350°
•In medium bowl, beat cool whip, egg and cake mix until well blended. Dough will be thick and sticky.
•Drop by teaspoonfuls into a bowl of powdered sugar and roll to coat
•Place on parchment lined cookie sheet and bake for 10- 12 minutes

Anyone have any great recipes to share with me?
Anyone have any great blogs they view daily or even weekly?

Getting Ready To Be A Family Of Four

I am 34 weeks pregnant and getting ready for our princess to arrive in 3 to 6 weeks. This time around, I am getting everything ready for 37 weeks just in case. Yesterday, I did lots of laundry and washed up the bottles and organized her room.
My co-workers threw me a baby shower on Friday and it was super adorable. Two diaper cakes, lots of snacks, lots of candy, lots of books, lots of cute baby girl clothes on a clothesline. It was the best baby shower I have ever went to! Thank you so much my Bellin co-workers! You are so sweet to me and my family. My family appreciates it so much.
Noah loves to go for rides on anything that moves: 4 wheelers, wagons, motorcycles, lawnmowers, and his little tykes car.
Last Sunday, we celebrated my Mom's birthday. Noah found some calculators and decided that they were phones. You can see he likes to talk to multiple people at a time.
We went to Romy's to celebrate my Mom's birthday. Noah loves his Grandpa and loves to give high 5's!
Noah loves his Grandma and he was totally checking out the frosting on the cake!
A few weeks ago, we went to the Outagamie County Fair. Noah loved "picking a duckie" and he won a toy car.
Noah loved to try to pet the bunnies at the fair.
Noah also loved all the tractors at the fair that he could pretend to drive.
Noah brings lots of art work home from Polka Tots Day Care. Of course we have to hang it on the fridge to show it off.
Noah enjoyed the Polka Day Parade in Pulaski.
Noah loved waving his American Flag during the Polka Day Parade.
We hope everyone enjoys the last month of summer!
