Getting Organized

Lately I am totally obsessed with getting all of our closets organized in the house. I even bought a book on organizing called "Organize Now" written by Jennifer Ford Berry. I also bought her 12 month planner since I lost all my To Do's on my To Do App on my Ipod Touch in August.

Here are some closets I organized already:

The Main Bathroom Closet

Bins I have are Amy, Mike, Shaving, Baby Stuff, First Aid, Nails/Ears/Feet, Bar Soap, Shampoo/Bubble Bath, and Misc.

I really enjoy labeling everything lately.
I also organized the electronic closet and put each cord in it's own ziplock bag with labels.
Noel looks so good in purple.
Noah loves his stuffed animal-tiger. He sleeps right on top of him every night so tiger is now a body pillow. Tiger gets to sleep face down.
A brother sister conversation.
Noah loves to play with Play Doh.
Noah loves tractors and combines. One day, he was able to watch the combine cut the field across the road all day.
Noah loves to sleep with his stuffed animals. At least 7 have to be in bed with him every night.
The new way to sleep-sitting up on the couch.
Getting ready to go shopping!
Noah loves making bubble beards in the bathtub.
Noel's baptism at Assumption B.V.M Church in Pulaski.
Grandma and Grandpa Hille
Uncle Scott and Tara
Grandma and Grandpa Williamson
Noel's Godparents: Uncle Mike and Aunt Janet Williamson
Noel in her cute baptismal gown made by Grandma Hille!
I love baby hoodie sweatshirts.
Next week it is back to work after being off for 12 weeks. Crazy how fast time flies.

Hope everyone has a fabulous week!

Why I Blog

Do you know that you can turn your blog into a book? Very cool.

One huge reason why I started my blog on April 5, 2010.

Another reason why I started my blog is to keep up with my children's milestones and to remember the funny things they do and say each week.

I make a point to make sure most pictures I take have words or a story to go with it.

I love looking at old photos, but the most frustrating thing is looking at photos without a story so then you have no context on what the person is doing in the photo and why and where they were. This is also a reason why I blog.

I plan on getting my blog developed into 3 books:

One book for Mike and I
One book for Noah
One book for Noel

Noah and Noel will get these books when they graduate from college. Yes, I really do mean college and not high school. If I gave my kids this book when they graduate from high school, I don't think it would mean as much as when they graduate from college.

The years between high school and college are the years children learn and grow the most and become adults. When you graduate from high school, all you want to do is get away from your Parents and be on your own. Ugh, that makes my heart hurt thinking that my kids will be that old someday and won't want to be with Mike and I all the time. Right now, in our kids eyes, Mike and I are awesome! Another reason why we need to cherish the years with our young children and teach them everything we know.

Sweet Noah and Noel. Brother and Sister love. Noah told daycare yesterday that he loves Noel. This just melts my heart.
Sweet Noah.
Sweet Noel.

Riding in Papa's truck after going to church.

I take pretty good self portraits. I love how "little" babies are.
Noel is thinking: "I can do this. I can lift my head. I think I can. I think I can. I think I can."
Noah is brushing tiger's fur and his puppy.
Noah's behavior chart with stars. 5 stars and he gets a new toy! He already earned a new toy tractor and now we are working towards a toy skidsteer. During the day Noah does great and earns his stars and then at bedtime he loses a couple because he gets up too many times before going to sleep. Some nights he does great and keeps all his stars and some nights not so great.
Yum! French Vanilla Cappuccino every morning. As soon as Noel was born, the first thing I requested in the hospital was a french vanilla cappuccino.
Noel in her cute purple dress.
Last night, Noah told Mike he was feeding his animals. He fed them toast and jelly of course. Later on, he fed them pinecones.
Sweet baby feet!

Hope everyone has a fabulous week!
